Transport Rules & Safety Guidelines

At Kaushik Public School, the safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. To ensure smooth, safe, and disciplined transportation for our students, we request parents to carefully go through and follow the transport guidelines mentioned below.

General Bus Rules

Transport facility is provided strictly on a first-come-first-serve basis, based on admission numbers.
Students must use only the front door to board or exit the bus.
Eating and drinking are not permitted on the bus.

Parental Responsibilities at the Bus Stop

Ensure your ward:

Carries their I-Card every day.
Is escorted to and from the bus stop.
Arrives at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
Waits on the correct side and does not stand on the road.

Parents should not attempt to stop or overtake the bus, or enter the bus to receive or drop their child.
If your child will walk alone to/from the stop, submit a written application to the Principal for approval.

Onboard Conduct for Students

Do not stand or move around while the bus is moving.
Do not:

Lean out of windows.
Throw objects in or out of the bus.
Shout or cause distractions for the driver.
Touch the bus controls or panel.

Board only your allotted bus; no changes without written permission.
Respect staff at all times. Any misbehavior may lead to suspension of transport services.

Transport Operations & Changes

No temporary changes in bus routes or stops are allowed.
Permanent changes must be requested through a formal application, downloadable from the school portal. Changes take effect only after written approval.
Drivers will stop only at designated stops unless directed otherwise by the bus teacher and transport in-charge.

Tech-Enabled Safety

All school buses are equipped with:

CCTV Cameras to monitor onboard activity.
GPS Tracking System for real-time location tracking.
Speed Governance System to ensure speed regulation and compliance.

Other Important Guidelines

Students missing their bus should not try to board another. Parents must drop them to school.
Parents using private transport should arrive 15 minutes before school start/closing time.
Ensure all belongings are secured and labeled properly.
