At Kaushik Public School, we understand that regular attendance is critical to a student's Academics success and overall development. Consistent participation in school activities, including classes, extracurricular events, and assessments, not only ensures that students benefit from the full learning experience but also teaches important life skills such as discipline, responsibility, and time management. These attendance rules are designed to ensure that all students follow the school’s guidelines and maintain a positive and focused learning environment.

At Kaushik Public School, we believe that consistent attendance is fundamental to student success. We expect all students to value their education by attending school regularly and making the most of the learning opportunities available. These rules are in place to help our students succeed Academicsally, develop a strong sense of responsibility, and learn essential life skills such as punctuality and time management.

By adhering to the attendance rules, students contribute to a disciplined and focused learning environment, allowing themselves and their peers to achieve their best.

Attendance Rules:

Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance as per CBSE guidelines to be eligible for promotion and exams.
Absence below 75% may lead to disqualification from exams and possible repetition of the Academics year.
Leave requests must be submitted in writing and signed by the parent/guardian.
Medical certificates are required for absences longer than three days due to illness.
Unexcused absences (e.g., skipping school, unapproved holidays) will result in disciplinary action.
Students must be punctual and arrive before the bell rings. Habitual tardiness will lead to consequences.
Students arriving late must report to the administration office for a late slip.
Examination absences must be justified with a valid reason and supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificate).
Unexcused absence from exams will result in a zero score for that exam.
Leave during exam days or for personal holidays is discouraged and must have prior approval.
Leave for extracurricular activities must be approved in advance and should not interfere with Academics lessons.
Long-term illness or medical conditions may warrant flexibility, but proper documentation is required.
Attendance records are closely monitored, and parents will be notified if attendance falls below the required threshold.
Frequent absenteeism will be reviewed, and disciplinary action or probation may be implemented.
